Dragstrip Operators Meeting & Expo The mission of DOME has always been to provide a collaborative, interactive environment to share knowledge, establish best practices, make drag racing events better for racers and fans, and help grow drag racing as a whole. DOME was formed by a consortium of Midwest tracks in 2017 and was historically held in the vicinity of Joplin, MO. Its creators are Carl Blanton of Mo-Kan Dragway, Al Schoenwetter of Ozark Raceway Park and Gerald Kramer of Eddyville Raceway Park. Due to family health demands, competing priorities and other life commitments these gentlemen have retired from producing the annual event but remain involved in supporting it. For the 2025 annual event the torch has been passed to Jason Kennedy, Owner of Trackside Systems and his team based in Canton, OH. With the support of a committee of veteran track owners and operators, sanctioning bodies and other long standing drag racing experts, the 2025 event will be held Jan. 31 - Feb. 1 at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH, just east of Columbus, OH. Those who want to learn from fellow track operators and special guests with expertise in various areas should attend. Whether you are a first year track operator or a 30 year industry veteran, you'll learn something at this event!
